Bill Gates kicked off the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for the last time yesterday, and in doing so probably entrenched “second digital decade” – the upcoming ten years, which will be an even greater success than the last ten years, with a particular focus on user-centricity that will take us all further ahead faster than most of us can imagine - in the web 2.0 lexicon. While he has some (as always) interesting thoughts that we can delve into in future posts, it’s the 7-minute video on Bill’s future that is truly priceless. While hopefully a better version becomes available soon, maybe it’s fitting that the only copy I can find of it right now was simply taped by someone in the audience and posted on his blog?
Update: here’s a link to the video in a less “bouncy” form.
